The game provides a lot of sympathy to the Consitutional Monarchy of 89-92 and practically none at all to the popular movement that drove the major events from the ground up. With the exception of Pierre Bellec, all of them are upper-middle class or in the case of Mirabeau, an Impoverished Patrician whose range of experiences allows him to be the voice of a wide franchise.
